South Bend Mural Guide

On a recent trip up to South Bend, Indiana, I took some time out of the weekend to check out all the murals I could find! For a smaller town, there is some GREAT public art and many are very close together, making this a pretty easy afternoon activity. For the latest updates on the public art scene in South Bend, be sure to check out their web site.

Channel your inner George, Paul, Ringo or John and check out this amazing mural behind the Morris Performing Arts Center.  211 N Michigan St.
This gorgeous colorful wall is on the side of a marketing building on East Colfax Ave. Artist: Alex Allen.

The famous “Touchdown Jesus” mural is on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Painted by: Millard Sheets.
Beware of The Claw! This is such a fun mural with major “Toy Story” vibes. 621 E. Lasalle. Artist: Lauren Steinhofer.
“Keeper of the Fire” – located downtown South Bend on Woodward Ct. Artist: Alex Allen.
This colorful wall is right across the street from the Beatles mural.
