About Kelly

I’m a full time public librarian and have worked in libraries for sixteen years! I also have a journalism degree and love to write, so this site is a bit of a creative outlet for me. My blog started a hobby, and has morphed into so much more, but is still firmly rooted in my love of books. So even though I also write about lifestyle, food and travel, you’ll still find plenty of bookish related content to read about.

Currently, I live on the south side of Indianapolis with my husband and three rescue cats, Lilly, Everest and Phoenix. I was born in Texas, but have always called Indiana my home. Many people may think we’re a “flyover” state, but if you dig a little deeper, we Hoosiers have a lot to offer you in our humble little state.

When I’m not reading, re-watching Gilmore Girls or searching for the next amazing restaurant to try out, you’ll probably find me out and about hunting for murals.
